Top Tips To Present Gifts This Christmas

Dec 6, 2022

When it comes to gift-giving, presentation is just as important as the actual gift itself. With Christmas just around the corner, it’s time to start wrapping all of your Christmas gifts this year… So we’ve put together this handy guide to help out.

Wrapping Your Christmas Gift

Presenting your gift nice and tidy helps set the tone and boosts the value of the gift itself – we like to see it as, the better the presentation, the better the gift.

Here are 4 things you can include to present your gift(s):

  1. Use quality wrapping paper – avoid using old, cheap and think Christmas Wrapping Paper. Use high quality wrapping paper, which helps add to the overall gift experience as well as making life easier when it comes to actually wrapping the gifts.
  2. Use boxes to disguise gifts – Keep boxes from other deliveries. They are a good shape to make wrapping easier, and can help keep easily identifiable shapes more discreet.
  3. Sellotape – Use sellotape to help tidy up your wrapping by folding and taping any paper gaps or overlaps of paper
  4. Finish off with some ribbon – this may seem like extra effort and costs, but a simple two-minute ribbon can massively enhance the presentation of your gift.

Giving Your Gift To Your Partner

Actually wrapping the present is one thing, but the setting and ambience of gift-giving massively enhances the experience. Make it an experience she will never forget! Here are some tips you can consider…

  1. Candles – Light some candles and dim the lights, leaving a romantic setting
  2. Fizz – What better way to clam more ‘partner points’ then a nice glass of Prosecco to help demonstrate how thoughtful you are
  3. Allow time – We know how hectic life can be (especially with children!), so try and set aside 30 minutes for just the two of you. This will result in the experience feeling even more special.

Gift Card Messages

This is pretty much the icing on the cake! Not everyone is comfortable with Christmas Cards, but Women read words – so they really count. They may seem a bit corny, but they will definitely add value.

Here are some ideas to include:

  • A gift for my gift
  • I love you, (name)
  • You complete me
  • You are the light of my life
  • Words are not enough to express my love for you
  • Eternity would still not leave enough time for me to tell you how much I love you
